Buck and Jazzie

Rat Terriers have been accepted in the United Kennel Club (UKC) since 1999, and are now part of AKC’s Foundation Stock Service (FSS) which is the first step to earning recognition by AKC. They are now eligible to participate in AKC companion events which include agility, obedience and now earth dog trails.  We hope the breed will soon gain full recognition and be able to participate in all AKC events.

Our dogs are dual registered in UKC and AKC FSS and we are planning to start attending AKC events when we are able to so we can show everyone what Rat Terriers can do.

Welcome to our site, We built this site so we could share the fun that we have with our dogs. We got our first Rat Terrier Buck in 2003 and decided to try showing him, “just for fun”.  Well we do enjoy going to dog shows, But mostly we enjoy the people we’ve met and the friends we’ve made.

 These little dogs are very versatile, they are good house dogs when its time to relax at home, but are always ready to go when you are.

We are members of the Central Valley Rat Terrier Club, In addition to conformation shows we probably spend more time attending Terrier races and other fun club events. We are currently training them for earth dog and obedience and hope to participate in those trials in the future.
